Rostov Region Minister of Economic Development Pavel Pavlov inspected the largest industrial enterprises in the city of Shakhty.
Two of them are participants in the state program to improve labor productivity.
The first was BTK Textile LLC , a complex of enterprises equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, providing a full production cycle for high-tech textiles made from synthetic fibers, as well as natural and blended fabrics. The industrial cluster includes the production of woven and knitted raw materials, finishing of knitted and woven fabrics, an in-house sewing factory with 1,000 employees, finished goods warehouses, and auxiliary engineering workshops.
Over the course of six months, the company's employees underwent training in lean manufacturing methods and practiced their acquired skills under the guidance of specialists from the Regional Competence Center. Two streams were selected as a pilot project: the production of "Sobol" knitted fabric and "Taiga" woven fabric .
The second facility was the Avangard plant, which produces towels, non-woven fabric, wet wipes, and valves for sealed wipe packs. These products are imported to Poland, Kazakhstan, and neighboring countries. In 2025, the company participated in the federal "Labor Productivity" project. As a result of the wet wipe production optimization project, output per shift increased by 66.7% (from 168 to 280 packages per person per shift).
As a reminder, the federal project "Labor Productivity" is being implemented by the regional Ministry of Economic Development as part of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."
